Yesterday while returning from a neighbors I discovered that one of the rear bolts for the roof was completely gone. Since I’m using this tomorrow to transport the family, I figured why not take the top off until I get a new bolt + washers. Naturally I took a test drive.
So the roof actually bounces around because it really isn’t supported/strengthen well. Riding without one, wow...I thoroughly enjoyed it. No unnecessary wobbling so I could really punch the gas, especially around turns. I even found a nice spot to mess around in. Having partially bald tires making sharp turns on the grass, equals fun. 10/10, would hoon again.

It’s weird to see a PT Cruiser without a roof. Also, nice golf cart in the back, there. Don’t see many in blue.

Yeah, that blue golf cart is stock, go figure.

My kind of place. 2 lawnmowers, one of which is just begging for a small auto/motorcycle engine. A ladder, need that. A convertible golf cart, “let’s go”. A Part Time Cruiser. A lawn chair to sit and contemplate your next project. A nice, large deck to survey your kingdom from. A black something next to the siding, probably useful.

Ha, that black thing is a two-person boat. The motor is inside with the rods and tackle, the rest of it is in the shed out back.
If that green mower worked, it has a 21 hp engine. It has a bit of a kick to it, :).
Not pictured: the two push mowers behind the house or any wood that needs to be chopped/split.

I worked on a golf course maintenance crew for a couple summers, and man, did I hoon the shit out of some golf carts. Used to disable the governors and tighten the throttle cable. Those suckers can get up and go

Mine lacks a governor and the linkage was changed to open the throttle . Now it lost weight, :).

It just gets better.
Except for the “push” mowers and the “wood that needs to be chopped/split”
I heat with wood for about 2 months each year. A friend showed me how to make a splitter work real fast.
The first split of the log is only done 3/4 of the way. Then you flip it 90 degrees and do a full split. It falls apart on the second split and you don’t have to pick up the half pieces and split them again.

That honestly looks like so much fun. But maybe you should have cut the top off the PT Cruiser instead?

The wood on the back is for the fire pit. On the deck , under a tarp is the wood for inside.

It's dead in the watertight now. PCM isn't working nicely, :(.
